Following the announcement of integration into Telegram, TON is attracting the attention of centralised exchanges. On October 4, MEXC Ventures, subsidiary of the MEXC exchange, announced a strategic investment in the TON blockchain. The amount of funds is not specified, but it's “eight figures”.
TON’s collaborations with Telegram and MEXC largely contribute to mass adoption of crypto. They also promise TON an even brighter future, and it has already grown 20% during the last month. Let’s unpack some details of a new partnership.
MEXC Ventures strategic investments in TON details
MEXC published a press release on the partnership with TON, revealing its key details. Three main points from the text are:
1️⃣ MEXC Ventures plans to contribute to the TON network’s development. It also aims to attract new users to the world of cryptocurrencies through the large audience of Telegram.
2️⃣ The partnership involves assistance in marketing and promotion. The exchange will not have commissions in pairs with Toncoin, and a collateral lending service will be launched in TON.
3️⃣ For the development of the ecosystem, projects built on TON will receive separate funding. Four of them are mentioned in TON’s announcement:
Megaton Finance — DEX on TON,
TONPlay — a project developing tools to run games on TON,
Fanzee — a platform for interactions between sports organisations and fans in Web3,
Sonet — a service facilitating Web2 projects to integrate blockchain solutions.
Binance Research report on TON bright development
The latest Binance report, which looks at the month's major events and market trends in the crypto world, mentioned TON in the context of the announcement of a blockchain partnership with messenger Telegram at the Token2049 conference.
Firstly, the report notes that “this partnership stokes the flame of potential mass adoption, catalysing the public's speculation and anticipation”. TON and Telegram collaboration is called the “highlight of the month”.
Secondly, the price of TON is mentioned, as it grew by more than 20% during the month, which is the best result among the top 10 cryptocurrencies. It is noteworthy that TON is not yet listed on Binance.
